Two decades of building
what didn’t exist yet
Two people built an entire Layer 0 blockchain from first principles. The same team is now 50% through building the trading engine.

Eli Traitel
Serial entrepreneur since age 12. Acquired third IT company at 18. Founded TraiTel Telecommunications in 2003 – pioneered the world’s first integrated VoIP, eFax, and SMS platform serving 25,000+ business customers and 350,000+ software users. Three decades solving connectivity problems at scale. Founded ITZA in 2022 and architected the full-stack Layer 0, securing 70+ patent applications.

Alain Lapalme
Programming since age 8. Software Engineering at University of Ottawa with Nortel Networks scholarship. 20+ year partnership with Eli – CTO since 2004. Built TraiTel’s entire telecom platform from scratch. Core engineer of the ITZA Blockchain – implemented the consensus mechanism, cluster architecture, execution environments, cryptographic agility framework, configurable block timing, and protocol primitives.
50% built. 6–8 weeks to launch.
The underlying infrastructure is operational on testnet. The trading engine is approximately 50% code complete.
Infrastructure Complete
Full Layer 0 on testnet. 65,000 clusters. Consensus, execution, post-quantum crypto. 70+ patents. ITZA Vault live.
Trading Engine
~50% code complete. Order book, matching engine, perpetual contracts, liquidation engine, margin system. 6–8 weeks remaining.
Offshore Launch
BVI entity. No-KYC trading cluster. High leverage perpetuals. Direct competition from day one.
Regulated Clusters
US via ITZA Trade Inc. (Texas). Dubai via VARA. EU under MiCA. One network, cross-cluster settlement.
70+ patent applications. Unforkable moat.
Three years of engineering protected by comprehensive IP across multiple jurisdictions.
Consensus & Clustering
Proprietary consensus mechanism, deterministic cluster assignment, cross-cluster atomic settlement, configurable block timing.
Cryptographic Framework
Post-quantum agility, hot-swap key rotation preserving wallet identity, NIST FIPS 203/204/205/206.
Protocol Primitives
Native escrow with jury arbitration, KYC certificates, application containers, dual execution environments, archival system.
