Principles-Based Disclosure Document Published

ITZA Labs has published the Principles-Based Disclosure Document for the ITZATrade token presale, prepared in anticipation of the SEC’s proposed Regulation Crypto Assets Startup Exemption framework.

The document provides comprehensive information for prospective investors covering the full entity structure (ITZA Labs as Texas-based technology licensor, ITZA Trade Inc. as the exchange operator, the Cayman Foundation for protocol governance, and the BVI entity for the offshore trading cluster), the ITZATrade token economics including the 55% real yield distribution model, team backgrounds, risk factors, financial condition, intellectual property overview, and detailed use of proceeds for the $5M Tranche 1 raise.

This disclosure represents a commitment to regulatory transparency from day one – a clear differentiator in a market where most decentralized exchanges operate without formal disclosure obligations. The document is available for download on the Presale page.

Trading Engine Reaches 50% Code Completion

The ITZA Trade on-chain trading engine has reached the 50% code completion milestone, with core components now operational in the test environment. This represents approximately 12 weeks of development completed, with an estimated 6–8 weeks remaining to full feature completion.

Components now operational in testing include the fully on-chain order book with limit and market order support, the matching engine executing all trades transparently on-chain (no off-chain matching), perpetual futures contracts with funding rate calculations, the margin system with cross-margin and isolated margin modes, and position management with real-time PnL tracking.

Components currently in active development include the liquidation engine and insurance fund mechanics, oracle price feeds and mark price calculations, the staking yield distribution system (55% of fees to stakers), the multi-cluster settlement layer for cross-jurisdictional trading, and the leaderboard and competition framework.

The trading engine runs on dedicated 50ms block time clusters, delivering sub-150ms trade finality – a configurable parameter unique to the ITZA Blockchain architecture. Every order, cancellation, and trade executes fully on-chain, providing complete transparency and auditability that off-chain matching systems cannot offer.

ITZA Blockchain Testnet Goes Live

The ITZA Blockchain – the full-stack Layer 0 protocol that powers ITZA Trade – has successfully launched on testnet, marking the completion of over three years of ground-up development by Eli Traitel and Alain Lapalme.

The testnet demonstrates the complete infrastructure that makes ITZA Trade possible: up to 65,000 parallel clusters each with independent ledger and validator sets, the Proof-of-Deterministic-Time (PoDT) consensus mechanism combined with quintile-based Proof of Stake, both WASM and EVM smart contract execution environments, post-quantum cryptographic agility with NIST FIPS 203/204/205/206 support and hot-swap key rotation, configurable block times per cluster (50ms for trading, 300ms for standard workloads), and native protocol primitives including tokens, NFTs, escrow with jury arbitration, and KYC certificates.

Performance benchmarks during testnet operation confirmed real-world throughput numbers: an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X running 30 clusters on a single consumer machine sustained 487,000 TPS aggregate, while an Intel N305 ($150 mini-PC) sustained 14,000 TPS per cluster with Ed25519 signatures and 9,200 TPS with post-quantum ML-DSA-65 signatures.

The testnet launch also coincides with the first live ITZApps deployment – ITZA Vault, an identity verification cooperative operating in Colorado – demonstrating that the infrastructure supports real-world applications beyond trading.

With the blockchain infrastructure validated, the team’s full focus has shifted to completing the ITZA Trade trading engine, which is now approximately 50% code complete.
